Hi everyone. A couple of weeks ago I atteneded WUMB radio's Summer Acoustic Music Week. This was a wonderful week of music, friendship and haute cuisine on the shores of Lake Winnepesauke, New Hampshire.

At the open mic on Thursday night I played and sang my song "Peaches for Sale," ably accompanied by Mr. Scott Ainslie playing his National resonator guitar. Thank you, Scott! For those of you who asked, here are the lyrics:

Reading from my novel July 19!

Hi everyone. Many of you have asked when my novel-in-progress was going to be released into the wild. Well, I'm very excited to say that I will be giving a public reading from the manuscript next week. The Teabag Poets' Lounge (www.teabagnyc.com/poetslounge) has invited me to be their "Featured Artist" on Wednesday, July 19. Here are the details:

Pass Bayard and Pell streets. Silk Road Mocha will be on the left, opposite the Church of the Transfiguration, just before the intersection with Mosco Street. The Poets' Lounge is toward the rear of the cafe.

Many thankees to Kevin So for inviting me to sing a couple at his show this afternoon (www.teabagnyc.com / kevinso.com). Kev plays every Sunday afternoon in the heart of Chinatown, NYC, USA. It's a fun, relaxed atmosphere, with lots of guest artists stopping by and NO cover charge. And there's no such thing as a bad Kevin So show.

The Teabag Poets' Lounge, Wednesday, May 31

Hi everyone. I will be playing Wednesday, May 31, at the Teabag Poets' Lounge. Festivities kick off at 8:00 PM.

The Poets' Lounge is a relatively new program from the producers of the Teabag Open Mic (now the Teabag Variety Hour.) Le Lounge is hosted by the as-yet un-crowned

The Teabag Poets' Lounge is a fun place to see a diverse and talented line-up of poets, playwrights, songwriters and other word-workers bring their thing to the big wide world. Only six measly US dollars gets you in and gets you a drink from the bubble tea/cappuccino bar or the beer and wine bar.

What's not to love?

Rumors that I will be singing "Fisherman's Daughter," the song I wrote for Teabag's tsunami fundraiser, are completely unfounded, although probably true.

First Annual Un-retirement Party! Tonight!

Hi everyone. I know I haven't played publicly in a long time (for those of you in Boston, that's a wicket long time.) So tonight I'm coming out of retirement for a cameo deluxe fries-come-with-it super-performance at Teabag Open Mic (www.teabagopenmic.com), now known as Teabag Variety Hour (I don't know why.) This is a really fun open mic, featuring music, poetry and comedy. The audience has a great time and really responds to the performers. And all audience members are really, really, really good-looking.*

Besides, let's face it: you really don't have anything to do tonight. Seriously. I looked at the TV guide. "Dateline NBC"? You wanna watch "Dateline NBC"? Seriously, dude, get real.

So, you're there, right?
